| Application Control Enables Problem Solving |

| EDI Advantage is an integrated solution that resides within the Sage MAS 90, 200 and 500 environment. In many important ways, EDI Advantage designers can extend application control to the EDI Advantage consultant or technical user so that complex EDI problems can be solved more easily. In other words, because of the way EDI Advantage is designed, technically-oriented users can have more control over the application than is the case with other products. By using the mapping tools we provide, by taking advantage of hook programs, by being able to use very flexible and detailed processing options to set things up to work in many different ways, you can control the application. In comparison, EDI systems that operate outside this environment may struggle to achieve the objectives of integration using general purpose tools such as the Visual Integrator module. In some cases, the nature of the EDI requirement or the structure of the data doesn't lend itself to the use of VI and a solution may not be readily available. Accordingly, these external systems don't have the ability to give effective application control to technical users and consultants. As external systems with fewer options and less flexibility, they often can't provide the depth of tools or control that advanced users and consultants may desire. |

| Processing Options |

| EDI Advantage provides rich processing options, giving you the power and control to configure inbound integration processing and outbound document generation with the options that work best for your business. For example, with EDI Advantage 90/200 you can choose to have ASNs created automatically from your standard MAS 90 Sales Order, Picking Sheet, Shipping Label, Invoice, or Packing List printing process. In other words, your printing selections can be used as the shipment selection and ASNs are generated from that. In addition, you can select from a number of options for grouping your ASNs: all orders you print become one ASN, one ASN per Purchase Order, one ASN per Sales Order, etc. On the inbound side, you can take advantage of comprehensive features such as the default warehouse matrix, which allows you to designate 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice warehouses for pulling any particular item from your inventory. Or use EDI Advantage to control pricing and terms decisions by customer and by item. |

| Because it operates within the accounting system environment, EDI Advantage audits transations all the way through the integration process.
